Thanks for the update! I don;t get all the info on the team since I live 6 hours away from BG now. But I am glad to hear that he wil be a great addition to your squad. We should be able to keep him in check since we have practiced against him and we know his style well.

West's son obviously played some for WKU

Adding a break-away threat to the offense is West’s son, junior tailback Tony West (5-9, 175), who sat out last season after transferring from Findlay University. In 2003, young West played for Western Kentucky and burned ISU for 159 yards rushing and one touchdown in a 59-14 WKU victory at Memorial Stadium.
“The biggest thing is he’s going to bring a little bit more speed at that position,” Coach West noted. “We’re hoping that instead of having a 25- or 30-yard run, we can go the distance with his speed.”

Backing up Tony West are junior Bryan McCulley (6-1, 210) and redshirt freshman Robert Barcliff (5-10, 210).

The name doesn't ring a bell, but I'll do some research and let you know what I find. As far as moving up, things are progressing forwad but nothing is set in stone yet. I would call the odds at 60:40 for moving up right now, but there are a few hurdles to cross first.

I noticed our coach's son now plays at ISU and had played for WKU. Tony West is his name and he is a Tailback, did he play much at WKU and was he any good??

And what are the odds that WKU will really move up in FB??
