We will be ready for the season, we have a young team but they are getting the job done, we are expecting to do well this year. Offense will be the strong part of the team but our defense is coming together and luckily our boys are all healthy so we are looking at a good year for the DAGWS. How about western kentucky, how are they lookin.

As I was posting this to your team's site, all I was thinking was dealing with Whitlock again this season. GEESH! What does the O-Line look like? Returing many boys this season? As for us, I am not in BG but this is what I am hearing...

Our seniors are embarrassed by our end of season collapse and are vowing a better record. As for the team, we will be replacing 2 starters on the O-line (Losey and Hewig) and one starting WR. Everyone else returns, including Lerron, who will be a fifth-year Senior. We had a great corp of young WRs including Gaebler, I think, who was a big-time blue-chip prospect. I believe that we will be having a little more balanced attack, letting Haddix throw the ball around a bit more.

Defensively, this will be our achilles heel again. We lost 7 starters on D - all D-linemen, 2 LBs and both corners. Which may not be a bad thing since we were AWFUL against the pass last season. If I remember correctly, Sambursky lit us up all day long last year. Not completely certain what the news is on the progress on defense thus far. So being ranked 5th in the conference might not be off.

Whitlock and the O-line are good, we pretty much lost all of our D-line do to the lose of our 2 dozen seniors. We do have a fairly young team but they will be ready to play this season.

We beat the BIG 10 close game but we pulled through IU gave us a run for our money but we came back. Congrats to our DAWGS now hopefully we can keep this up the rest of the season.
